COMSATS admission 2027: dates
COMSATS admits most undergraduates in the Fall semester. You apply online once and choose your campus and programmes. Admission is based on your Matric and FSc marks plus an NTS NAT test score. Islamabad closes first, so apply early if it is your first choice. NTS tests are held at each campus. Which NAT you sit depends on your FSc group: NAT-IE for pre-engineering, NAT-IM for pre-medical, NAT-ICS for ICS, and NAT-Other or GAT (General) for other groups.
COMSATS merit formula and aggregate
This is the formula COMSATS uses in its own Fall 2026 merit calculator. If your FSc result is awaited, you enter your first-year marks. A-Level students awaiting results are counted on their O-Level equivalence. Architecture and art & design programmes use a different formula with a creative aptitude test and interview.

Architecture merit
B Architecture: Matric 5%, Intermediate 10%, NTS 10%, departmental Creative Aptitude Test 40% (drawing 25, critical thinking 15) and interview 35%. You need at least 50% from the first four parts to be called for the interview.

- ICS students admitted to engineering must study Chemistry as a remedial course in the first semester.
- Pre-medical students apply for BS Engineering through a separate pre-medical admissions portal.
- Foreign qualifications (O/A-Level and others) need an IBCC equivalence certificate.
- Architecture students without Maths are advised to take 6 credit hours of Maths in the first two semesters.

How to apply to COMSATS
- Sign up on admissions.comsats.edu.pk with your email and choose undergraduate.
- Fill the form, pick your campus and programme preferences, and pay the application fee.
- Register for the NTS NAT test that matches your group and sit it on your campus's test date (or submit a valid NTS score).
- Check the merit lists on the portal, then pay the admission fee and first semester fee by the deadline.

What is the COMSATS fee per semester?
For students joining in Fall 2026: Rs 160,500 for computer sciences, Rs 166,500 for engineering, Rs 176,500 for Pharm-D, Rs 183,500 for architecture and design, and Rs 148,500 for other programmes. New students also pay a one-time Rs 27,000 admission fee.
What is the COMSATS merit formula?
50% NTS test, 40% FSc (Intermediate) and 10% Matric. Architecture and design use an aptitude test and interview instead.
Which test do I need for COMSATS?
An NTS NAT test that matches your FSc group: NAT-IE (pre-engineering), NAT-IM (pre-medical), NAT-ICS (ICS) or NAT-Other / GAT for other groups. Engineering needs an NTS score of at least 33%.
What marks do I need for COMSATS?
At least 50% in Intermediate for computing, business and most other programmes, and 60% for engineering, Pharm-D and architecture.
