Student Calculator Privacy Guarantee

StudentPath provides dedicated merit and aggregate calculators for Pakistani university admissions (including FAST, NUST, MDCAT, UET, COMSATS, and Punjab University), as well as eligibility tools such as the CSS Age Calculator.

Every calculation executes 100% locally in your web browser. When you enter Matric marks, Intermediate or FSc scores, entry test results, or your date of birth:

• Your academic marks and personal details are processed purely in local memory (JavaScript runtime).
• No entered numbers, test scores, or personal inputs are transmitted over the internet to our servers or any third-party infrastructure.
• We do not log, retain, profile, or sell student academic records under any circumstances.
• When you close or refresh your browser tab, your entered scores immediately clear from memory.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages and tools students use, so we know what to keep up to date. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) and records information such as the pages you view, how you reached the site, your approximate region, and your device and browser type.

• Calculator inputs (marks, grades, test scores and dates of birth) are never sent to Google Analytics or to us.
• Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses for this site.
• You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Advertising

StudentPath does not show advertising at the moment. If we add advertising (for example Google AdSense) to keep the site free, we will update this policy before any ads appear, including how advertising cookies work and how to opt out.

Server Logs

Like standard web infrastructure, our hosting servers automatically record basic, non-personally identifiable diagnostic entries. These server access logs may include:

• Internet Protocol (IP) address
• Browser user-agent string and operating system family
• Referring URL, requested file paths, and visit timestamps
• HTTP status response codes and byte counts transferred

These access logs serve solely to preserve server reliability, mitigate malicious traffic or automated denial-of-service attempts, and identify broken links. Server logs are not combined with any personally identifiable student information.

Cookies and Local Storage

StudentPath does not require user accounts or student registration. The only cookies we set are the Google Analytics cookies described above. Some pages remember small preferences, such as a chosen filter, in your browser's local storage; these stay on your device. Our hosting and content delivery network may use technical cookies to keep the site secure and fast.

External Links to Universities and Regulators

Our admission directory and guides contain outbound links to official universities, regulatory bodies (such as the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, and Federal Public Service Commission), and testing agencies. StudentPath exercises no control over external platforms. Once you follow an external link, the privacy practices of that receiving organization govern your visit.
