How Bahria calculates your aggregate

For BSCS and BBA at the Islamabad E-8 campus, Bahria's Admission Policy (Edition 2, June 2022, still linked from the E-8 downloads page) uses 60% Bahria University Entry Test (BUET), 30% HSSC and 10% SSC. This calculator is limited to that case: completed Matric and FSc results and ordinary merit.

BSCS and BBA, Islamabad E-8

Aggregate = (BUET % × 0.6) + (FSc / HSSC % × 0.3) + (Matric / SSC % × 0.1)

  • 60% BUET, out of 100.
  • 30% FSc / HSSC.
  • 10% Matric / SSC.
  • Minimums: 33% in BUET and 50% in FSc.

Which marks to enter

  • BUET: your score out of 100.
  • FSc and Matric: the totals printed on your mark sheets (usually 1100; some boards use 1200 for FSc).
  • Not covered: results still awaited, IBCC or predicted grades, SAT, NAT or LAT, quotas, and programmes or campuses other than BSCS and BBA at E-8.

Worked example: Bahria E-8 BSCS aggregate

Matric / SSC 1000 / 110090.91% × 10%9.0909

Meeting 33% in BUET and 50% in FSc only makes you eligible. Seats go to the highest aggregates, and interviews and documents are checked separately.

Bahria closing merit

Bahria doesn't publish closing aggregates. Its campus merit lists show candidates by merit number and call them for interview, without aggregate figures. Numbers on other sites are their own estimates, so we don't show them.

Check the merit list for your campus and programme on Bahria's website, and bring your original documents to the interview on the date in the list.

Why this calculator is limited to E-8 BSCS and BBA

Bahria has campuses in Islamabad (E-8 and H-11), Lahore and Karachi, plus health sciences campuses, and its admission rules differ by campus, programme and test route. The formula on this page comes from section 2.11.3 of the Admission Policy that the E-8 campus links, so we only apply it where that policy is clearly in force.

For other campuses, programmes, IBCC results or tests such as SAT or NAT, check the admission notice for your intake on Bahria's website.

Bahria minimum marks and merit lists

  • At least 33% in BUET and 50% in FSc for BSCS and BBA.
  • BSCS has extra subject requirements; students without the required mathematics may need deficiency courses.
  • For BBA, NCC marks don't count towards the FSc minimum.
  • Merit lists call selected candidates for interview. The Fall 2026 Lahore list, for example, asked candidates to bring original documents, CNIC, four photographs and attested copies, and result-awaiting students their roll number slip.

Bahria admission strategy

BUET carries 60% of the E-8 aggregate, so your test score matters more than your FSc marks.

1. Prepare for BUET

Each mark in BUET is worth twice as much as the same percentage in FSc. Focus your preparation there.

2. Clear the minimums

You need at least 33% in BUET and 50% in FSc before your aggregate counts.

3. Watch the interview list

Bahria's merit lists are interview calls. Turn up on the date with original documents, or you lose your place.

4. Check your intake's notice

This formula comes from a 2022 policy still linked by E-8. Confirm it in the admission notice for your intake.
