Sindh Talent Hunt Program 2027: last date, test and benefits
The Sindh Talent Hunt Program (STHP) is Sukkur IBA’s fully funded route for talented students from Sindh, run with the Government of Sindh. Selection is on merit-cum-need. 200 students join a six month foundation semester in English, Mathematics and ICT. The top 100 who reach a GPA of at least 2.2 get a scholarship for a four year degree at the main campus.

Foundation semester (200 students)
100% tuition fee waiver, free books and manuals, Rs 5,500 a month for living costs and a Rs 4,000 monthly stipend. There is no hostel during the foundation semester.
Degree (top 100)
100% admission and tuition fee waiver for four years (eight semesters) while you keep a CGPA of at least 2.2, plus Rs 5,000 a month for eight semesters.
Who can apply
Intermediate or equivalent passed in 2024, 2025 or 2026, from any board, with a Sindh domicile. Students already selected under STHP or NTHP for Fall 2026 cannot apply.
Test centres
Sukkur, Karachi, Larkana, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas and Naushahro Feroze. The test has the same English, Mathematics and IQ sections as regular admissions.

Sukkur IBA admission 2027: how selection works
Regular Fall 2027 dates are not out yet. In 2026 Sukkur IBA ran two phases: Phase I closed on 5 May with the test on 17 May, and Phase II (for vacant seats) closed on 6 July after an extension, with the test on 12 July. Classes started in August.
- Apply for one degree programme only, after checking that you meet its eligibility. (In 2026 you could list up to five choices; the 2027 notice changes this.)
- Take the aptitude test. Sukkur IBA publishes a merit list in descending order of merit on its website.
- Candidates are called one by one in the Auditorium Hall in merit order, starting with rank 1. Seats left in each programme are shown on screen.
- When your turn comes, you choose any programme that still has seats. Its seat count then drops, and the next candidate is called.

Why your rank matters more than your choice
Under the 2027 notice, a higher rank means a wider choice of programmes. A lower-ranked candidate may find popular programmes such as BSCS already full by the time they are called.
Sukkur IBA merit list 2026: lowest selected test scores
Sukkur IBA does not publish a closing aggregate. Its 2026 selection lists show each selected candidate’s aptitude test score in merit order. The table gives the lowest score in each programme in the first Phase I list for the main campus (test on 17 May 2026, list published on 25 May). Later lists and other campuses can be lower.

The test has 100 questions, so these scores read like percentages of the questions. Use them as a rough guide only: the number of seats and applicants changes each year.
Sukkur IBA fee structure (latest published: 2025-26)
The latest fee structure Sukkur IBA has published is for the 2025-26 financial year. The total at admission rose every year, from Rs 104,000 in 2022-23 to Rs 128,000 in 2025-26.

Hostel seats are limited and given on merit, according to the admission advertisement. Sukkur IBA also has a separate fee refund policy on its website.

The same pattern is used for every programme and for the Sindh Talent Hunt Program. Regular admission tests are held at the main campus on Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui Road, Sukkur.

- Marks must come from an annual examination with no supplementary.
- Your exam year must be one of the last three years: 2024, 2025 or 2026 for 2027 admission.
- Computing (CS, SE, AI) from 2027 follows the revised NCEAC rule: any HSSC group that studied Mathematics is eligible. Pre-Medical students are eligible but must pass two extra Mathematics courses (6 credit hours) in the first year. Students with neither Mathematics nor Pre-Medical are not eligible.
- An American High School Diploma (60%) or International Baccalaureate (25 of 45 points) is accepted for business, computing, media, physical education and B.Ed programmes.

What is the last date for the Sindh Talent Hunt Program 2027?
Apply online by 29 October 2026. The admission test is on 8 November 2026 at centres in Sukkur, Karachi, Larkana, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas and Naushahro Feroze.
What does the STHP scholarship cover?
The top 100 students get a 100% admission and tuition fee waiver for four years (with a CGPA of at least 2.2) and Rs 5,000 a month. In the foundation semester all 200 students get free tuition and books, Rs 5,500 a month for living costs and a Rs 4,000 stipend.
What is the Sukkur IBA fee per semester?
The latest published fee (2025-26) is Rs 106,000 tuition per semester. At admission you pay Rs 128,000, which includes a Rs 20,000 admission fee and Rs 2,000 refundable library security.
What is the Sukkur IBA test pattern?
100 multiple choice questions: English 40, Mathematics 40 and IQ 20. The same pattern is used for every programme and for STHP.
What test score do I need for BSCS at Sukkur IBA?
In the first 2026 Phase I list for the main campus, the lowest selected score was 64 for BS Computer Science, 63 for BS AI and 61 for BS Software Engineering. Scores change every year.
When will Sukkur IBA admission 2027 open?
Sukkur IBA has not announced regular Fall 2027 dates yet. In 2026, Phase I closed on 5 May and Phase II on 6 July. Its 2027 notice already says you should apply for one programme only.
Can Pre-Medical students apply for BSCS at Sukkur IBA?
Yes. Under the NCEAC rule effective from 2027, Pre-Medical students are eligible for computing programmes but must pass two extra Mathematics courses (6 credit hours) in the first year.
Does Sukkur IBA have a hostel?
Yes, with limited seats given on merit. The 2025-26 hostel charges were Rs 36,000 for a single room, Rs 30,000 double and Rs 25,000 triple.
