UHS Lahore runs central admissions to MBBS and BDS at every public and private medical and dental college in Punjab. Here are the 2026-27 dates, the merit formula, eligibility, fees and the list of public colleges, taken from the Punjab admission policy and UHS's own notice.

UHS MBBS and BDS admission 2026-27: dates
UHS is the admitting university for MBBS and BDS in Punjab. It also conducted the Punjab MDCAT, held on 20 September 2026. MBBS and BDS have separate portals and separate applications; you are only considered for the programme you apply to.

UHS merit formula
This is the 2026-27 formula for every Punjab public and private medical and dental college. Hafiz-e-Quran marks are not added for medical and dental admissions.

MBBS and BDS eligibility in Punjab
- Passed MDCAT 2026, 2025 or 2024 with at least 55% for MBBS or 50% for BDS. MDCAT is valid for three years.
- Candidates with a Punjab domicile must have taken the Punjab MDCAT.
- FSc Pre-Medical or equivalent with at least 60% marks, with Biology and Chemistry compulsory and Physics or Maths.
- A Punjab domicile is required for open merit and most reserved seats, except overseas Pakistani seats.
- Foreign qualifications need an IBCC equivalence certificate.

MBBS fee in Punjab colleges 2026-27
Public colleges
Rs 50,000 a year
Tuition for MBBS and BDS at public colleges, paid into UHS's account at the Bank of Punjab or National Bank.
Private colleges, to hold a seat
Rs 600,000
Deposited with UHS within three working days of the merit list. The rest is paid to the college, which must let you pay quarterly, six-monthly or yearly.
Overseas Pakistani seats
US$ 10,000 a year
For students selected on overseas quota seats. Overseas Pakistanis selected on open merit pay the normal fee.

Selected candidates must pay within the given time and report to the college in writing, or they lose the seat. The application processing fee is Rs 2,000 for each programme.

How to apply on the UHS portal
- Read the prospectus and admission policy on uhs.edu.pk, then open the MBBS portal (publicmbbs.uhs.edu.pk) or the BDS portal.
- Register with your name, email, CNIC or B-form, mobile number and a password, then complete your profile.
- Choose your seat categories, enter Matric, FSc and MDCAT details, and upload documents (PNG or JPG, under 500 KB each).
- List colleges in order of preference, then pay the Rs 2,000 fee at the Bank of Punjab or National Bank, or through 1Bill. Upload the paid challan.
- Submit before the deadline. You can edit until then, but college preferences are final once the deadline passes. Hard copies are not accepted.
